Shopping Plaza
Renovation of existing 194,000-ft.²
shopping center in Concord, New Hampshire.
The shopping center is situated on the
site of the old Concord train station,
torn down in the 1950s. The original
shopping center was a typical sixties,
flat roofed strip mall. The new design
incorporated design elements of the
old train station, such as the corner
turrets, large half round window, and
the column and roof brackets reminiscence
of the old train sheds. The large roof
Gables announce major entrance points
to anchor stores. |
